The new Diamante Golf Course in Los Cabos just may be the best golf course in all of Mexico. Diamante golf course recently open in November 2009, the property is located on the sand dunes of the Pacific Ocean which allowed Davis Love to create a course that feels as though as if you are playing Bandon Dunes and Turnbury in Scotland on the same day.
The fairways at Diamante are reasonably generous and the greens are large and undulating but with the wind blowing from the Pacific this is a real test of golf!!! Ratings of 75.4 / 146from the 7300 yard back tees will give you the idea of difficulty.
The overall experience at Diamante is just that, an experience, not just a round of golf.The cost to play includes the use of a wonderful practice area, an experienced caddie, breakfast, 4 stops during the round at comfort stations that serve hot snacks, drinks and then lunch when you are finished playing. All this is set over looking the golf course with miles of sand and ocean as the backdrop. It really does not get any better than that!!!
